Record breaking January for property sales

The Realtors Association of Hamilton-Burlington says January was a record breaker for property sales.
911 properties in Hamilton and Burlington changed hands last month, a 17.4 per cent jump from January 2016.
It also beat the previous high in January 2006 by more than 11 per cent.
Burlington led the pack with 141 property sales last month with an average price tag of $754,000.
112 properties were sold on the Hamilton Mountain last month, averaging $416,000.
